I would like to know why Universities in Nigeria hardly admit at lest 50% of all students doing their Jamb exam with a view to getting university admission. Most of these students did well in their O/Level GCE but still many universities still don't admit a lot of them that scored above 200 in their Jamb exams. Why is this so?
Does the Nigerian govt not want young people to go to school?

It is because the number of people seeking admission far outweighs the number of admission spaces in the universities

In nigeria, most universities are indulging in favouritism, when an individual merits an admission, they give it to someone else who didn't even get up to half of the cut off... We just have to keep our hopes high and pray that one day driscrimination in term of admission in nigeria would b a thing of the past... Have been at home for 3yrs now, still fighting for admission in my state,I won't give up till I get it. And if its not working,I think going out of dis country to school will be my next option.
